Warranty on office chairs includes:
1. Spring / Hydraulic / Gaslift Warranty - This part of the office chair regulates the chair height. This part can sometimes become damaged depending on consumer use. However, the manufacturer still provides a warranty on this part for up to 2 years - signs of a damaged spring are when the chair sinks by itself when sat on.
2. Chair Mechanism - This part of the chair provides the rocking motion on the backrest. This mechanism is usually called Tilting Control or HDT (Heavy Duty Tilting Control). The manufacturer provides a warranty of up to 2 years on this part.Â
3. Foot frame (5/4 star) - located at the bottom and is the place where the wheels attach, providing mobility to your office chair. The manufacturer provides a limited warranty of up to 2 years on the foot frame part of the office chair. The warranty does not cover caster wheels.Â
